Social Logins: A Guide for Existing Users
Do you have users who would like to use the social media logins, but not sure what will happen if the email on their social media account doesn’t match the email on their DigitalChalk account? There is a workaround that will allow users to login with the social media options even if the emails do not match.
All the existing user will need to do is:
- Login using their email address and password
- Click on ‘Account’ in the upper right hand corner
- Select the social media option you would like to connect with to login to your account without entering in any login information.
After the user has connected their account to the selected social media account they will be able to login using that button from that moment on.
*Helpful hint: This will only work for users if you have setup the ability for users to login using social media accounts for your organization. If you haven’t done that yet check out our guide on how to do that here.
