Delivering certificates

I was wondering exactly how the certificate is delivered to the student, is it emailed to them automatically? Or do the instructors have to initiate that?

When the student completes the course, a link will be generated for them allowing them access to download their certificate as a PDF from DigitalChalk. This will be presented to them in their own gradebook for each course they have taken and passed if those courses have certificates assigned to them by the instructors.
