How To Manage Course Delivery

by | May 27, 2013 | Marketing

It is any online educator’s ideal situation to have complete control over your course delivery, but often times that isn’t the case. DigitalChalk has created a simple process to give you the ability to manage your course delivery the way you want to.

On demand or scheduled delivery: This option allows you, as the online educator, to control when certain elements of your course are available to your students. On-demand allows the student to access the course anytime. A scheduled delivery sets a time for when the student is allowed to take that certain element of the course. For example, maybe the user can only view a certain element after completing another element beforehand (prerequisite).

Control when course elements become visible: This means that you choose when the student can even see that the element exists until you set its visibility.

Control how many times a student can visit an element: If you only want the student to be able to visit an element a select number of times, you have the ability to set the element as unavailable after the user reaches their limit (this includes tests, quizzes, etc.).

Specify when an element is complete: This makes it easy for the student to easily know when they have completed the element that they have been working on. For example, if the element has a video, you can mark the element complete if they have watched any percentage of your choosing, such as 50% or 88%.
