Use UPtick’s Cadence system to create personalized learning plans for your organization, teams, or team members. To begin, click Cadence from the Progress menu. The Cadence system works the same for team members and managers/administrators with minor differences.
Click the Create a Syllabus tab. After choosing a name, select either Conversations or Skills as the assignment type for the syllabus. (The default is Conversations.)
If you select Conversations, you can choose syllabus assignments from the page below by checking specific assignments or clicking an appropriate shortcut button.
Click when you are done. The Create a Syllabus page is displayed with the assignments you selected. You can now assign start and due dates for each assignment, as well as scoring thresholds for assignments.
If you select Skills, you can choose syllabus assignments from the page below by checking specific assignments or clicking an appropriate shortcut button.
Click when you are done. The Create a Syllabus page is displayed with the assignments you selected. You can now assign start and due dates for each assignment, as well as scoring thresholds for the assignments.
Click and assign team members or groups to the syllabus from the pulldown. Team members can only make syllabi for themselves, managers can assign syllabi to any of their team members, and administrators can create syllabi for anyone. Click Select when you are finished.
Please ignore the Reminders for the time being; this is a feature that is currently in development but not available for use.
You can easily monitor the progress of your teams and team members through their syllabus assignments. To begin, click the View Syllabus Progress tab, then click on a syllabus name. Use the Sort By pulldown to to see a specific syllabus list.
The syllabus you select is displayed with the scores for each team member. The scores are color coded to quickly highlight the failing, passing, and better-than-average scores.
Move your mouse over a score to see the conversation (role-play) name. A score of INC means the team member did not complete the conversation within the dates set for the assignment.
You will only see syllabi that you have created or have been assigned.
Click to see a team member’s Progress page or click to see their Selling Intelligence Metrics page.

Clicking on the scores will display more details about the team member’s scores where each row can be clicked to be taken to the metrics page for that particular role-play.
This view is also what the team members see when they view their syllabus.
